Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) took aim at the House Armed Services Committee for holding a hearing on extremism in the military.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking in Wednesday\u2019s hearing, the Florida congressman said the committee is more worried about \u201cwoke culture\u201d than protecting our armed forces. He added radical extremism lies within North Korea and the Chinese Communist Party, where they are actively threatening the U.S. with its nuclear capability.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Today\u2019s HASC hearing on \u201cextremism in the military\u201d is a total joke. <\/p>\n<p>It is about nothing more than cancel culture coming for our military.<\/p>\n<p>We ought to tread carefully because our fellow Americans do not take kindly to this type of tyranny. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/ZOAFw0emvN\">pic.twitter.com\/ZOAFw0emvN<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Rep. It is to gaslight the targeting of U.S. military patriots who do not share preapproved politics,\u201d Gaetz stated. \u201cThis is not about extremism, it is not about white supremacy.
