(AP Photo\/Christian Chavez)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 8:21 AM PT \u2013 Wednesday, March 24, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>More officials working at the southern border are speaking out against the recent surge in illegal immigration.<\/p>\n<p>During an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=V0ATIYtmckg\">interview<\/a> Tuesday, the vice president of the <a href=\"https:\/\/bpunion.org\/\">National Border Patrol Council<\/a>, Art Del Cueto, said that drug cartels are taking advantage of the Biden border crisis along with an increase in unidentified individuals attempting to seek asylum.
