In the chat, an employee suggested the company interview a man with extensive experience for an open position. The hiring manager allegedly told the employee that the man could not be interviewed because he is white.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In a separate chat log, a hiring manager dismissed another candidate who he assumed to be white. The candidate was a racial minority. After learning of the candidate\u2019s accurate skin color \u2014 and little else \u2014 the hiring manager allegedly reversed course and hired the candidate.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Employees were also forced to undergo training wherein they were taught that white people have \u201cwhite privilege,\u201d straight men have \u201cgender privilege,\u201d and Christians have \u201creligious privilege.\u201d The company defines religious privilege as \u201ca set of advantages that benefits believers of a certain religion but not people who practice other religions or no religions at all.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Included in the training was an \u201cinclusive language\u201d guide, which told employees the phrase \u201chip hip hooray!\u201d was inappropriate language.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The language guide asks employees to substitute certain phrases for more \u201cinclusive\u201d phrases such as:&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>\u201cBrown Bag Lunch\u201d \u2192 \u201cLunch-and-Learn\/Grab n\u2019Go\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>\u201cWives\/Husbands\/Boyfriends\/Girlfriends\u201d \u2192 \u201cSpouse\/Partner\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>\u201cMothering\/Fathering\u201d \u2192 \u201cParenting\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>\u201cMaster Bedroom\u201d \u2192 \u201cPrimary Bedroom\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>\u201cLong time, no see\u201d \u2192 \u201cIt\u2019s been a while\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>\u201cYou\u2019re to [sic] young to remember this, but\u2026\u201d \u2192 \u201cDo you remember X?\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>Employees were also asked to fill out a \u201csocietal norms\u201d checklist where they listed whether they have characteristics associated with \u201cprivilege.\u201d The checklist asked whether an individual was able bodied, aged 25-55, Christian, cis-male, heterosexual, upper class, and\/or white.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Cigna also encouraged employees to read controversial books such as Ibram X. Kendi\u2019s \u201cHow to be An Antiracist,\u201d Robin DiAngelo\u2019s \u201cWhite Fragility,\u201d and Michelle Alexander\u2019s \u201cThe New Jim Crow.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Large corporations across the country are pushing racial indoctrination on employees. At Morgan Stanley, one of the nation\u2019s top investment banking firms, the company is requesting that employees fulfill a \u201cdiversity\u201d quota in the applicant pool before moving forward with the interview process.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Daily Wire <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/morgan-stanley-requests-employees-fulfill-diversity-quota-in-job-application-process\"><span>reported<\/span><\/a><span>:&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"10\">\n<p><i><span>Morgan Stanley is mandating that job application pools meet a 50 percent threshold of \u201cdiverse\u201d candidates. Employees were told to contact the company\u2019s human resources department if they cannot meet the requirements. Diverse applicants are considered female or individuals that identify as \u201cBlack, Hispanic, [or] Asian.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span>Similarly, at Deloitte, one of the world\u2019s largest accounting and consulting firms, employees were told that unintentional \u201cmicroaggressions\u201d are considered punishable offenses.
