A search revealed six improvised explosive pipe bombs and one inert device, as well as components for more bombs.<\/p>\n<p>Rose\u2019s cell phone revealed that in November 2025, he searched online for the location of a synagogue near him.<\/p>\n<p>The phone also included images of child sexual abuse, the release said.<\/p>\n<p>Rose also faces state charges related to his December arrest, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ksl.com\/article\/51639744\/ogden-man-accused-of-threatening-synagogue-in-2025-charged-with-federal-hate-crime\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">KSL-TV<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of his arrest, Rose was on state probation after being charged in May 2025 with disorderly conduct and firing a homemade shotgun in public. After the December charges were filed, his probation was revoked.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">BREAKING news out of Utah: Skyler AJ Rose, 21, was arrested in Ogden after law enforcement traced antisemitic threats on X ( including \u201cI wanna blow up a synagogue\u201d) to his account.<\/p>\n<p>During a search of his home, detectives found multiple homemade bombs and an assault rifle.<\/p>\n<p>Rose is now charged with weapons of mass destruction, terrorism threats, and more, and is being held without bail.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 StopAntisemitism (@StopAntisemites) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/StopAntisemites\/status\/2003994107098579428?\">December 25, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.x.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>\u201cDespite having already been under state supervision for his previous dangerous conduct, [Rose] engaged in even more risky and dangerous criminal behavior,\u201d prosecutors said in a motion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis recent history demonstrates that [Rose] does not respect court conditions and will not follow them, even if it is to his benefit to do so\u2026 [his] conduct is serious and inherently dangerous to the community and his history evidences no desire to act differently,\u201d the motion added.<\/p>\n<p>The federal indictment added that he allegedly wrote on social media, \u201cWhen the power goes out I must hunt the Jews,\u201d as well as, \u201cDeath be upon you Jews for I bring fire and brimstone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a different post, he wrote, \u201cDeath to all Jews I will devote my life to killing you! heil hitler,\u201d according to KSL.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[Rose\u2019s] troubling searches, combined with threatening social media posts and six functional improvised explosive pipe bombs are exacerbated by even more illegal material found on his phone.
