He mocks his Republican opponent, former Rep. Mike Rogers, for even bringing up his ties to the organization, calling it Islamophobic: \u201cWe had a little debate. Or I had a debate and he just pointed at me and said, \u2018He\u2019s Muslim,\u2019\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/atrupar\/status\/2113404152592101464\">told<\/a> a crowd on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>However, we have statements by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-abdul-el-sayed-hillary-clinton-hot-sauce-purse-moment-cringey-pandering-interview\/\">El-Sayed<\/a> in support of the terrorist organization, including his remarks during his college years and an essay for HuffPost in 2011 that said Muslim Brotherhood rule of Egypt would be perfectly fine.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">At the debate, Abdul El-Sayed said he has never been part of the Muslim Brotherhood. Here he is in college speaking at an Muslim Student Association event. They are a college branch of the Muslim Brotherhood. Abdul lied. Again. https:\/\/t.co\/KyZduOIvPY<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 The Jewish Idea (@TheJewishIdea) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TheJewishIdea\/status\/2113315094923018622?\">October 22, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.x.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>One year later, when the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/caught-el-sayed-says-family-no-ties-muslim-brotherhood-sisters-devastating-tweets-surface\/\">Muslim Brotherhood<\/a> did briefly rule the country, he signed a petition urging the new government \u201cto purge the media and police as quickly as possible,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/campaign\/6164202-abdul-el-sayed-michigan-senate-republican-attacks\/\">The Hill<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe affirm, as Egyptian Americans, that we strongly reject those voices that are courting America and Europe to take a position against the Egyptian regime,\u201d that letter read.<\/p>\n<p>And now, it turns out that his fellow signatories in support of the Muslim Brotherhood-backed government of Mohamed Morsi in Egypt are heavy donors to his current campaign.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, Jon Levine of <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/el-sayeds-fellow-muslim-brotherhood-supporters-who-signed-letter-with-him-urging-brotherhood-to-purge-the-media-and-police-have-poured-thousands-into-his-campaign\/\">The Washington Free Beacon<\/a> reported that six of his fellow signatories had donated to his two runs at statewide office, including his 2018 gubernatorial run.<\/p>\n<p>However, most of the money came during this cycle, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>From the Free Beacon:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>The total haul from his fellow brotherhood backers was at least $25,850, according to the records\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Dr. Hany Saqr, who signed the letter as part of the \u201cEgyptian Association in America,\u201d has given at least $1,000 to El-Sayed\u2019s Senate campaign, Federal Election Commission records show.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Saqr has a long history with the Muslim Brotherhood \u2014 an Islamist group with longstanding ties to terrorism that birthed al Qaeda and ISIS \u2014 the Free Beacon previously reported.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The doctor was listed in a 1992 phone directory of U.S.-based Muslim Brotherhood leaders submitted by federal prosecutors as part of the terror financing case against the Holy Land Foundation in 2008. The directory was seized from the Virginia home of an alleged Hamas operative. In 2018, Saqr used a Muslim Brotherhood logo as his profile photo and blasted Egyptian president Abdel el-Sisi \u2014 a foe of the Muslim Brotherhood \u2014 as a \u201cdog of the Jews.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>So yeah, that\u2019s not going to help El-Sayed\u2019s case \u2014 particularly when he\u2019s struggling to make inroads with Michigan\u2019s Jewish community.<\/p>\n<p>Another donor, Dr. Khaled Elsayes, has donated $2,750 to El-Sayed\u2019s campaign. He was in charge of an organization called \u201cRebuilding Egypt,\u201d which actively backed the Muslim Brotherhood during its attempt to remake the politics of the country. Moreover, the nonprofit still exists today.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnother letter signer, Ahmed Shehata, was irate when Morsi\u2019s crackdown on the press and police \u2014 as urged by El-Sayed and his comrades \u2014 failed and the brotherhood was ousted, writing an opinion piece for Roll Call in December 2013 calling on the United States to reinstate Morsi,\u201d The Washington Free Beacon reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn December 2013, he attacked efforts to brand the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s donated a total of $2,000 to El-Sayed\u2019s two campaigns. And the list goes on.<\/p>\n<p>But question El-Sayed about any of this and he loses his cookies, as he did during the debate on Wednesday:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Abdul El-Sayed LOSES his temper when called out for his ties to the Muslim Brotherhood<\/p>\n<p>He says his Mom was just simply a nurse for the Muslim Brotherhood https:\/\/t.co\/5PUl4QQNyy<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 DSA Watch (@DSA_Watch) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/DSA_Watch\/status\/2113051691415175412?\">October 21, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.x.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s quite beneath <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-mike-rogers-stops-abdul-el-sayed-tracks-attempts-victim-strategy-debate\/\">Mike Rogers<\/a> to call into question everything Abdul El-Sayed said or did regarding a terrorist organization before he got into politics, apparently, especially when the evidence is so damning. Right.<\/p>\n<p>El-Sayed is a radical, and he\u2019s upset that everyone seems to be discovering more radical skeletons in his closet every day.<\/p>\n<p>Michiganders need to reject him and his noxious belief system on Nov. 3.
