Because they\u2019ve since learned the hard way that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/portlands-liberal-hellhole-crime-skyrocketing-along-police-response-times-following-defund-police-calls-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">real hellholes<\/a> are, in most cases, anywhere but here.<\/p>\n<p>Wired summed up their discovery as follows: \u201cThe internet told them Europe was a social paradise. Turns out the trains are awful, the health care isn\u2019t free, and people can be really mean. https:\/\/t.co\/Hs4uzWMxxO<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 WIRED (@WIRED) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/WIRED\/status\/2112490978908975458?\">October 20, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.x.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The story introduced the audience to a leftist and American expat named Annie who eagerly relocated to a town just outside London in 2024 after her husband received a job offer.<\/p>\n<p>According to Wired, her eagerness was driven by reports from her fellow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/metallica-frontman-triggers-leftists-subtle-shot-zach-bryan-macklemore-jelly-roll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">triggered leftist Americans<\/a> that life in the U.K. was so much better than life in the big, bad United States.<\/p>\n<p>There was just one problem.<\/p>\n<p>After Annie and her husband arrived in the U.K., they soon realized that, despite the propaganda that had been fed to them by their fellow know-nothing leftists, life in England is not easy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are huge misconceptions about access to quality health care, standard of living\u2026 the quality of life is significantly lower than in the US,\u201d Annie admitted to Wired.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThings in the UK that are considered luxury items [such as dishwashers and dryers] are very common [in the U.S.].\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Duh! You\u2019d think Annie would have known that, but sadly, ignorance of the basic facts is a staple of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/leftist-couple-desperate-flee-trumps-america-gets-brutal-reality-check-financial-expert\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">delusional, misinformed left<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">The UK has been ranked the second-most miserable country in the world, according to a global well-being index. If you aren\u2019t born and raised there, and don\u2019t look German, you\u2019ll never be fully accepted.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>You don\u2019t say? It\u2019s almost like he traded life in the freest nation on Earth for life in a country where prosecutors <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/german-prosecutors-accidentally-prove-jd-vances-point-free-speech-disturbing-60-minutes-interview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">openly fantasize about<\/a> Gestapo-like crackdowns on speech that offends them.<\/p>\n<p>According to Wired, Annie and Josh are among \u201ca noticeable number of American influencers and anonymous social media users\u201d who fled the United States, only to learn \u201cthat life wasn\u2019t what they expected.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The hilarious irony, according to Wired\u2019s reporting, is that when these poor schlubs return to the U.S. and  their tale with their fellow leftists, they usually get chewed out and smeared as \u201cright-wing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen Annie posted earlier this summer on Reddit her excitement about going back to the U.S. in 2027, the comments were largely critical, and ones offering functional relocation advice were heavily downvoted,\u201d Wired noted.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s really no surprise if you know anything at all about leftists. The fact is most of them live in a delusional, upside-down fantasy world where virtually everything is the opposite of reality.<\/p>\n<p>This is the exact reason why these people cannot ever again be granted access to the levers of power.
