What do they actually seek to accomplish?<\/p>\n<p>Rogers pointed out the issue when responding to his opponent \u2014 it all sounds great, but when looking at these plans with a critical eye, they are nonsense at best and disastrous at worst.<\/p>\n<p>WXYZ-TV hosted the debate, uploading the footage to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Cs6PQe8LqHo&#038;t=3012s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The moderators asked each candidate where the opposition was correct. Although El-Sayed tried to thread the needle on tariffs \u2014 making it known that President Donald Trump\u2019s tariffs aren\u2019t the ones he supports \u2014 Rogers wisely chose to focus his attention on the Democrat\u2019s remarks beforehand.<\/p>\n<p>El-Sayed first declared,\u00a0\u201cI\u2019ll work with anyone and everyone when it comes to getting money out of politics, put money in your pocket, and passing Medicare for all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But Rogers responded by noting the empty nature of those promises.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2018Put money in your pocket,\u2019 it\u2019s a great slogan. There\u2019s nothing behind it \u2014 matter of fact, when his new democrat socialist-aligned policies are engaged, money in your pocket? You\u2019ll be lucky to have a damn pair of pants when you\u2019re done.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2018Medicare for all.\u2019 He doesn\u2019t tell you how much taxes you have to get charged, and you lose your private health insurance,\u201d Rogers added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese aren\u2019t real solutions.
