Texans, however, were shocked more than usual this week when they received a blue and pink pamphlet purporting to be a \u201cTexas Trans &#038; LGBTQ+ Student Resource Guide.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The brochures, addressed to the \u201cstudents\u201d of said households, were reportedly distributed across the state, including to families in Dallas-Fort Worth suburbs, the greater Houston area, Longview, Lubbock, and Midland. They effectively serve as a grooming guide that encourages gender-confused kids to stealthily seek the counsel and \u201csupport\u201d of other adults who will facilitate their attempts to secure \u201ctransition\u201d in the form of chemical castration or physical sterilization.<\/p>\n<p>Corporate media such as the Texas Tribune claim that the pamphlets are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.texastribune.org\/2026\/10\/20\/texas-transgender-pamphlets-tent-student-union\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cfalse\u201d<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.click2houston.com\/news\/local\/2026\/10\/20\/fake-transgender-student-union-brochures-target-children-spark-outrage-across-texas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cfake\u201d<\/a> simply because the Transgender Education Network of Texas (TENT), the transgender activism organization prominently featured in the brochure, claims it didn\u2019t send the pamphlet. Some wondered if it was an election stunt designed to hurt Texas Democrats\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RNCResearch\/status\/2031004994367898032?s=20\">trans children-loving Senate candidate James Talarico<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure>\n<p><span><\/p>\n<blockquote data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Pamphlets purporting to come from a transgender rights organization \u2014 mailed to families across Texas and igniting criticism from conservatives \u2014 came from a company formed last month in Wyoming. The Texas Transgender Student Union listed a Houston-area post office box as the\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Texas Tribune (@TexasTribune) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/TexasTribune\/status\/2112696500828385412?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 21, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><\/span> <\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>Yet, nothing in the mailers misrepresents the trans coalition\u2019s tactics. In fact, some pages of the were taken straight out of the radical transgender ideology playbook. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis and school choice are my two major reasons for casting a vote today,\u201d one Texas mother told The Federalist.<\/p>\n<h2>The What<\/h2>\n<p>The first page of the transgender pamphlet points children with questions about \u201cout-of-state\u201d puberty blockers or genital mutilation to several transgender organizations. The next page of the unfurled brochure explains what minors should do if they desire to be legally emancipated from parents deemed unsupportive of their gender confusion or homosexual desires.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you\u2019re trans, nonbinary, or questioning and your family, school, or community isn\u2019t supportive, you don\u2019t have to figure everything out by yourself,\u201d the first paragraph of the brochure\u2019s inside fold states.<\/p>\n<p>The pamphlet concludes by reassuring kids \u201cyou don\u2019t have to know whether you\u2019re definitely trans,\u201d \u201cyou don\u2019t have to convince your parents,\u201d and \u201cyour job right now is to stay safe, find people who will listen to you, and give yourself time to figure out who you are.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are other kids in Texas going through this too \u2013 and there are adults whose actual job is to help you. Even if your family doesn\u2019t accept you as you are, groups like these are ready to become your found family,\u201d the message reads.<\/p>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<p>The back of the mailer links to the TENT\u2019s now-scrubbed resources page, which <a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20261012175450\/https:\/\/transtexas.org\/resources\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">featured<\/a> its youth resources partnership with Lambda Legal and ACLU of TX and links to a list of \u201canti-trans bills\u201d and \u201cvoting while trans\u201d advice. <\/p>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<p>Also printed on the brochure is a schedule of TENT\u2019s \u201cTrans Texas Takeover,\u201d a statewide tour dedicated to build \u201cpower within our community for the Texas legislative fight this coming spring.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<h2>The Who<\/h2>\n<p>It\u2019s unclear exactly who mailed the guides, an ordeal that likely cost <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mailpro.org\/post\/direct-mail-postage-rates\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tens of thousands if not millions of dollars<\/a>. The return address on the pamphlet claims to belong to the \u201cTexas Transgender Student Union,\u201d but that entity was only <a href=\"https:\/\/wyobiz.wyo.gov\/business\/FilingDetails.aspx?eFNum=176212075125155087081154129209082103059088038033\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">created in September in Wyoming<\/a>. Further research suggests the \u201c1611 W Airport Blvd, Suite 123 Meadows Place, TX\u201d address listed in the return location on the envelope is just a handful of digits off from the address listed in an archived version of the TENT website.<\/p>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<p>And while the brochure relies heavily on imagery and resources from TENT, the trans activist group disavowed involvement in \u201cauthoring, authorizing, approving, or distributing\u201d the pamphlets and <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/LibertyCappy\/status\/2109414305968033950?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">texts<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The organization\u2019s now-scrubbed <a href=\"https:\/\/transtexas.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">website<\/a> simply features a one-page statement claiming that the <em>texts<\/em> specifically \u201cdo not represent the official position or communications of the organization\u201d \u2014 no word on the mailers. The message concludes with a gif of Mariah Carey singing \u201cwhy you so obsessed with me?\u201d<\/p>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<p>Notably missing from that statement is any indication that TENT disagrees with the contents of the brochure. That\u2019s because, based on their archived website and social media activity, they and the other pro-LGBT organizations listed likely don\u2019t. <\/p>\n<h2>The Why<\/h2>\n<p>One of the most jarring claims made in the brochure is that gender-confused kids with parents who question their confusion or refuse to indulge it should look for affirmation from other adults. The idea that parental rights mean nothing if a kid decides he or she stakes their identity on delusions about their sex is a pillar of the transgender coalition\u2019s activism.<\/p>\n<p>The results of the years-long campaign to isolate and then liberate gender confused children from their pesky parents is evident: <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/09\/07\/pro-trans-group-links-ohio-amendment-to-lgbt-rights-confirming-conservative-warnings-it-will-let-kids-get-sterilizing-surgeries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">deceitful ballot measures<\/a> designed to override parental consent laws so gender-confused kids can get on cross-sex hormones or secure genital amputation without permission, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/08\/11\/colorado-has-been-running-a-state-funded-grooming-and-mutilation-operation-for-years\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">taxpayer-funded<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/07\/29\/docs-irvine-schools-coach-teachers-on-transitioning-kids-against-challenging-parents-wishes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">covert<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/06\/06\/im-your-mom-now-wisconsin-parents-take-school-secrecy-policy-on-gender-identity-to-scotus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">grooming operations<\/a> in <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.ph\/CVVN3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">schools<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/04\/29\/dod-prompts-gender-dysphoria-among-military-kids-and-hides-health-records-from-parents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">military bases<\/a>, and even <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/09\/29\/republican-senator-introduces-bill-to-protect-the-parent-child-relationship-from-trans-ideology\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">state-sponsored kidnappings<\/a> by social workers who use parents\u2019 beliefs about sex as justification for ripping children <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/02\/23\/colorado-bill-would-take-kids-away-from-parents-who-refuse-to-trans-them\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">from their custody<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not uncommon for large LGBT organizations to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetrevorproject.org\/resources\/article\/friends-family-support-systems-for-lgbtq-youth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">encourage<\/a> kids facing so-called \u201crejection, discrimination, or a lack of understanding\u201d to see activists (instead of friends and family) as their support system. The Trevor Project page about \u201csupport systems\u201d evens features a \u201cquick exit\u201d function that allows children researching transgenderism to swiftly ditch their discoveries if a nosey parent interrupts their web-surfing. <\/p>\n<figure><\/figure>\n<p>It\u2019s also not uncommon for those same organizations to promote out-of-state options for kids who live in states where chemical castration and transgender mutilation are banned. The Human Rights Campaign\u2019s website features an entire page dedicated to \u201cEmergency Funds for Relocating and Supporting Families and Transgender Individuals,\u201d including the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.northtexastransportationnetwork.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The North Texas TRANSportation Network<\/a>, which claims to \u201cprovide travel and relocation grants to North Texas families seeking out-of-state health care for trans and gender-expansive youth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We don\u2019t know and we might not ever know who mailed these pamphlets. What we do know is that even though the social contagion that is transgenderism is losing its appeal with younger generations, the radical LGBT activist arm that touts it is still going strong. <\/p>\n<p>Organizations such as TENT might not have personally signed off on or paid for these brochures, but even they didn\u2019t quibble with the content of the handout.
