All I can tell you is it was a long time ago, and it just wasn\u2019t a big issue.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She also reportedly later insisted once again that the Burisma issue \u201cjust wasn\u2019t a big deal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But the newly declassified State Department documents reviewed by Just The News reportedly tell a different story. The documents showed that Yovanovitch and her aides \u201cwere apprised\u201d of \u201ccorruption concerns\u201d against Burisma long before the Oct. 11, 2019, hearing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYovanovitch and her top aides engaged in dozens of communications between 2016 and 2019 about Burisma, Hunter Biden, Zlochevsky and efforts by their legal defense teams and lobbyists to make investigations go away or curry favor for a company the State Department deemed to be corrupt,\u201d according to Just The News.<\/p>\n<p>Zlochevsky referred to Burisma\u2019s owner,\u00a0Mykola Zlochevsky.<\/p>\n<p>Just The News reported it has also obtained an  sent by Yovanovitch\u2019s top deputy in Kyiv, George Kent, that further contradicted her testimony.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe real issue to my mind was that someone in Washington needed to engage VP Biden quietly and say that his son Hunter\u2019s presence on the Burisma board undercut the anti-corruption message the VP and we were advancing in Ukraine b\/c Ukrainians heard one message from us and then saw another set of behavior with the family association with a known corrupt figure whose company was known for not playing by the rules,\u201d the  from Nov. 22, 2016, read.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\ud83d\udea8\ud83d\udea8\ud83d\udea8 BOMBSHELL: THE  THEY HID FROM AMERICA \ud83d\udea8\ud83d\udea8\ud83d\udea8<br \/> A previously CLASSIFIED  from top U.S. diplomat George Kent to Ambassador Marie Yovanovitch has just been released \u2014 and it changes EVERYTHING about the 2019 impeachment.<br \/> Kent warned that Joe Biden needed to be quietly told that his son Hunter\u2019s board seat at Burisma was ACTIVELY UNDERMINING America\u2019s anti-corruption efforts in Ukraine\u2026<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 CONSTITUTION X \ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddf8 (@ConstitustionX) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ConstitustionX\/status\/2111359269845295323?\">October 17, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.x.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>In addition to being warned by Kent about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/senate-committees-release-report-hunter-bidens-ukraine-dealings-problematic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bidens\u2019 shady dealings<\/a> with Burisma, Yovanovitch also reportedly met with Burisma executive Vadim Pozharskyi on at least two occasions.<\/p>\n<p>John Solomon, the founder of Just The News, summed up all these findings while speaking Monday on Real America\u2019s Voice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe story that the Democrats\u2019 key witnesses, particularly some State Department employees, told was not completely accurate,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are some very significant new revelations in these documents showing that Burisma and Hunter Biden and the Biden family scandal in Ukraine was much more consuming to the State Department than we were told during the 2019 impeachment proceedings against President Trump,\u201d Solomon added.<\/p>\n<p>In separate remarks made later on the same network, Solomon noted that the  from Kent was \u201cthe single most important document\u201d that Just The News had discovered.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt contradicts the testimony and the narrative that was put forth by the impeachment team,\u201d he said. \u201cBut imagine if President Trump\u2019s lawyers had access to that in the fall of 2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat, in fact, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hunter-biden-slapped-subpoena-records-dealings-burisma-chinese-companies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hunter Biden<\/a> had harmed U.S. policy by undercutting the anti-corruption efforts,\u201d he continued. \u201cIt was the opposite of what was testified to.
