Except, she managed to go viral not just because people who look and sound extremely drunk are funny, but because she managed to capture some of the <em>je ne sais quoi\u00a0<\/em>of the modern dirtbag left.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wouldn\u2019t let them \u2014 I mean, I don\u2019t even talk to them. I don\u2019t like them,\u201d she said in the now-infamous clip during a local televised candidate forum last week.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe sheriff\u2019s nephew threatened to blow my head off. But you know, what are you going to do,\u201d she continued. \u201cWe have guns, too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Four more beers! For more beers! She\u2019s for more beers! (It\u2019s not\u00a0<em>Jamie<\/em>, it\u2019s\u00a0<em>Jaime<\/em>, although it\u2019s entirely possible that\u2019s a paperwork error on her part due to a little help from her friend Jack Daniels.)<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s so seldom a good sign, although she\u2019s a welcome form of comic relief in an otherwise grim campaign season. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/leftist-arsonists-continue-setting-france-ablaze-jd-vance-warns-america-faces-future\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">France may be burning<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-dems-new-anti-zionism-really-anti-semitism-takes-30-seconds-biggest-game-streamer-world-explain\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">anti-Semitism may be boiling over<\/a>, but at least we have the sloshed Indiana Democrat.<\/p>\n<p>And while West won\u2019t cop to being completely blitzed, she admitted during a Monday appearance on \u201cPiers Morgan Uncensored\u201d that she had been at least partially lubricated by what gets <a href=\"https:\/\/www.logicallyfallacious.com\/logicalfallacies\/If-By-Whiskey\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">called<\/a> \u201cthe oil of conversation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had a Coors Light. I had a beer,\u201d she told Morgan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOne beer, or?\u201d Morgan responded.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMaybe a couple,\u201d West admitted.<\/p>\n<p>When asked exactly how many: \u201cI was nervous, okay? I was going in a room with full Republicans!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLook, we\u2019ve all had a drink when we\u2019re nervous, but just to be clear \u2014 Jaime, here\u2019s your chance to be completely honest and transparent. West can. Can you <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-indiana-dem-accused-drunk-air-eye-popping-interview-makes-kamala-look-like-stone-sober-genius\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">imagine telling the interviewer<\/a> that you want to fire \u2014 and possibly shoot, and therefore kill \u2014 everyone who you disagree with? West did.<\/p>\n<p>And not only that, she\u2019s being rewarded with attention without being disowned by her party.<\/p>\n<p>Her excuse for getting soused and threatening political rivals?<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t blame her \u2014 she was going into a room full of Republicans! Who wouldn\u2019t want to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-dem-candidate-cries-uncontrollably-prays-squad-car-drunk-driving-arrest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">guzzle a few Silver Bullets before that<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s nothing more 2026 than a legitimate drunken ranter in Jaime West effectively getting away with belligerently threatening her opposition with guns because lol, can\u2019t you take a joke?
