In immigration work funded by leftist billionaire George Soros, the Niskanen Center proposes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.niskanencenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Mapping-Americas-Immigration-Needs.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">expanding migrant pipelines<\/a> with state- and town-run visa sponsoring to displace \u201cnative labor supply.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Following the patterns of states such as California, Illinois, and New York, of course such a program would increase Democrat voting rates, this time in traditionally Republican locales. This is one way Democrats hope to erase the will of rural voters in future elections.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats usually cannot win fair elections in rural and small-town America. That\u2019s why they\u2019ve increasingly relied on blatantly deceptive and dirty tactics, like masquerading as Republicans. For example, in the rural state of Wyoming, a bunch of liberals backed by loads of <a href=\"https:\/\/wydonoralliance.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dark money<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/wyofile.com\/switch-for-wyoming-primary-election-group-revealed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ran as Republicans<\/a> in the August primaries, ousting some two dozen conservative Republicans <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/10\/06\/how-george-soros-and-democrat-dark-money-infiltrated-americas-reddest-red-state\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">from the 62-member Wyoming House of Delegates.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>While Wyoming is a stark case of highly <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/10\/06\/how-george-soros-and-democrat-dark-money-infiltrated-americas-reddest-red-state\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">organized and funded<\/a> meddling, we\u2019re seeing a lot more of this sort of thing sprinkled throughout rural and small-town America. Consider how self-described \u201cprogressive\u201d Sam Ronan tried to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2026\/apr\/9\/supreme-court-rejects-longtime-democrat-samuel-ronans-bid-get-gop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">run as a Republican<\/a> in the 2026 primary for Ohio\u2019s mostly rural 15th Congressional District. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/DocketPDF\/25\/25A1096\/403736\/20260406170112981_District%20Court%20Order%20April%206.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">courts blocked him<\/a> from doing so, but the attempt was clearly a bad-faith <a href=\"https:\/\/reason.com\/volokh\/2026\/04\/08\/sixth-circuit-oks-disqualifying-republican-primary-candidate-who-admits-hes-a-democrat-infiltrating-the-party\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">effort to pose<\/a> as a member of another party, in violation of Ohio\u2019s election laws.<\/p>\n<p>Alaska\u2019s ranked-choice voting scheme also allowed <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/08\/24\/the-senate-race-in-alaska-is-what-a-rigged-election-looks-like\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a random leftie<\/a> named Dan Sullivan to run as a Republican against <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sullivan.senate.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">incumbent<\/a> Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan. Known as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/other\/decoy-dan-sullivan-illegally-colluded-with-liberal-group-attacking-alaska-gop-sen-sullivan-watchdog-alleges\/ar-AA2bNSy3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cDecoy Dan,\u201d<\/a> he smells unmistakably like a Democrat plant on the general election ballot.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats have embraced <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/06\/17\/dems-show-just-how-low-they-can-go-in-latest-ballot-schemes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">such fakery<\/a> to even infiltrate GOP party leadership, on all levels. For instance, a candidate with strong ties to the Democrat Party prevailed in an election for chairman of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2026\/08\/03\/election-showdown-in-virginia-conservative-fights-leftist-infiltration-of-republican-party\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Warren County Republican Party<\/a> in rural Virginia. That election was cleaned up and redone with the actual Republican winning, but such meddling \u2014 too often unchallenged by faux Republicans \u2014 should now be obvious.<\/p>\n<h2>Hiding Democrats\u2019 Toxic Brand in Rural America<\/h2>\n<p>Democrats know that such blatant fraud can only go so far and only last so long. In the meantime, they are <a href=\"https:\/\/jacobin.com\/2026\/07\/community-works-local-organizing-gop\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">developing<\/a> a \u201crural ground game\u201d to <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/09\/02\/democrats-openly-declare-their-plans-to-infiltrate-rural-american-towns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">render conservative voters irrelevant<\/a> in rural America. In addition to <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/09\/21\/democrats-aim-to-win-rural-voters-by-lying-about-moderation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">applying heavy doses of propaganda<\/a>, they walk back and lie about their woke positions to make themselves more suitable to voters in the countryside. Texas Senate candidate James Talarico has been <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/09\/30\/exclusive-texas-dem-talarico-caught-in-lie-on-trans-insanity\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">particularly chameleon<\/a> about his far-left agenda, which includes his odd religious stances and his support for the genital mutilation of children.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond the left\u2019s nonstop propaganda and use of corporate media to run interference for them, they rely on a bevy of blatant cheating strategies. Many of those strategies, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/04\/08\/virginia-democrats-power-grab-is-a-giant-middle-finger-to-rural-americans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">gerrymandering,<\/a> ballot harvesting, early voting, election fraud, and dark money from undisclosed donors, are well-known.<\/p>\n<p>There are two lesser-discussed means of diluting the conservative voting patterns of rural America. First, through migrations of likely Democrat voters into those places. Second, by targeting low-turnout local elections throughout America to get their candidates in office.<\/p>\n<h2>High-Low Migration Trends Into Rural Areas<\/h2>\n<p>One trend that feels a lot like a Democrat strategy is the colonization of small towns and rural areas with people who would support Democrats running for office. The migrants could be urban and suburban white American citizens who habitually vote for Democrats. Or they could be foreign immigrants, such as the many settled during the Biden Administration and targeted for the future by organizations such as Niskanen \u2014 who quickly learn that voting for Democrats ensures their receipt of government-issued benefits.<\/p>\n<p>Mostly white American leftists who move into rural areas might be motivated by nicer scenery as well as lower taxes, even though they\u2019ll continue to vote for high taxes once relocated. Wealthy leftists are attracted to the natural beauty of certain conservative places, such as Teton County, Idaho and Shenandoah County, Virginia, and bring political baggage with them. For example, dark money \u201cphilanthropist\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.removepaywall.com\/search?url=https:\/\/www.insidephilanthropy.com\/home\/amy-wyss-is-all-in-on-place-based-philanthropy-in-rural-america\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Amy Wyss<\/a>, daughter of leftist Swiss billionaire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/profile\/hansjoerg-wyss\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hansjorg Wyss<\/a>, runs the <a href=\"https:\/\/lorfoundation.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LOR Foundation<\/a>, undoubtedly meant to astroturf Wyoming politics while claiming to simply \u201cimprove quality of life\u201d in rural places.<\/p>\n<p>In their new idyllic settings, a lot of predominantly white lefties set up community-focused businesses like coffee houses, breweries, wineries, and garden centers. You might also find their book shops, art galleries, and yarn or pottery shops on various Main Streets, USA.<\/p>\n<p>They tend to connect with the local Chambers of Commerce and join service organizations like Lions Clubs and Ruritans, where they network in their communities and support their comrades running for local office. They also take over the local newspapers. As Mark Pulliam <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/01\/13\/leftists-are-colonizing-red-towns-like-mine-and-local-republicans-are-clueless\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">wrote<\/a> about the leftwing invasion of his Tennessee town, \u201cthe local paper is unfailingly and obnoxiously left.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Foreign Migrants Pour Into American Towns<\/h2>\n<p>Another type of migration to conservative small towns are foreign immigrants dependent upon welfare benefits or attracted by job offers from big businesses, such as Tysons Foods looking for cheap labor in meatpacking plants. When <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heritage.org\/border-security\/commentary\/rural-american-towns-logansport-indiana-struggle-due-influx-aliens\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the Biden administration<\/a> flooded small American communities with immigrants, they could be automatically registered to vote when they applied for driver\u2019s licenses.<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in tracking foreign migrations in American towns, county by county, Jennica Pounds has produced an <a href=\"https:\/\/datarepublican.com\/migration-explorer\/map\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">extraordinary tool<\/a> for doing so. Her website comes with a page that allows you to easily discover which <a href=\"https:\/\/datarepublican.com\/migration-explorer\/network\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">nongovernmental organizations are involved<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sudden waves of immigrants can increase a small town\u2019s population by 50 percent or more, <a href=\"https:\/\/americanhabits.org\/small-towns-big-strain-how-illegal-immigration-burdens-local-communities\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">straining<\/a> a community\u2019s resources, such as housing, schools, and public safety. Many longtime residents end up moving out, further shifting the demographics. Whether it\u2019s a flood of Haitians in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/ohio-residents-small-town-erupt-over-havoc-caused-massive-influx-20000-haitians\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Springfield<\/a>, Ohio or <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/10\/20\/us-news\/illegal-immigrants-from-mauritania-flood-lockland-ohio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mauritanians<\/a> in Lockland, Ohio, or Haitians that immediately <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/its-not-just-springfield-this-small-town-in-pennsylvania-is-overrun-by-haitian-migrants-too\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">doubled the population of Charleroi<\/a>, Pennsylvania, there can be no doubt that Democrat politicians who\u2019ve overseen these migrations are motivated by a quest for votes and power.<\/p>\n<p>The rural leftist outlet \u201cDaily Yonder\u201d produces <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyyonder.com\/immigrants-and-refugees-a-growing-part-of-smaller-communities\/2022\/02\/22\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">propaganda claiming<\/a> that \u201cimmigration is the future of small cities and rural communities.\u201d More to the point, the left craves a sudden and unregulated influx of such immigrants to shift the political landscape leftward in those places.<\/p>\n<h2>New Democrat Motto: \u2018Blue Counties = Blue States\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>National Democratic County Officials (<a href=\"https:\/\/demcountyofficials.org\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NDCO<\/a>) is the official campaign arm of the Democratic National Committee dedicated to electing Democrats at the county level throughout America. Its motto is: \u201cRoad to Blue: Blue Counties = Blue States.\u201d Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) also makes a point of <a href=\"https:\/\/y.dsausa.org\/the-activist\/national-power-starts-at-the-local-level\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dominating local elections<\/a> in places that might otherwise be hostile to their agenda.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, political analysts <a href=\"https:\/\/news.ballotpedia.org\/2025\/03\/03\/nearly-90-of-the-country-lives-in-a-county-that-voted-for-the-same-presidential-candidate-from-2016-to-2024\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">carefully watch<\/a> political <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.is\/20220313115145\/https:\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2022\/03\/11\/what-political-shift-rural-counties-looks-like-since-2000\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">shifts in counties<\/a>. Donald Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/ballotpedia.org\/County-level_presidential_election_voting_trends,_2016-2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">consistently won<\/a> 2,559 of the 3,112 counties in the United States across all three elections in which he was a candidate for president.<\/p>\n<p>The DSA seems to especially target low-turnout local races to shift rural America in its favor. The Marxist DSA magazine \u201cReform and Revolution\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/reformandrevolution.org\/2025\/05\/30\/hegemony-in-the-hinterlands-the-need-for-rural-organizing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">explains<\/a> how this was done in Altamont, Kansas, population 1,000: \u201cWe\u2019ve also found a lot of opportunities with nonpartisan elections in our small towns, and have run and gotten our own candidate appointed \u2026 we did so with our member, Zac Sellers in Altamont, Kansas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, <a href=\"https:\/\/y.dsausa.org\/the-activist\/national-power-starts-at-the-local-level\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">running locally is key<\/a>, especially when the officeholder is an incumbent who was appointed to a vacant office, perhaps because there was no one interested in holding that office. There are also a number of small towns, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnewyork.com\/long-island\/election-day-long-island-town-too-bad-no-one-is-running-for-mayor\/6507797\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">such as lovely Bayville on Long Island<\/a>, in which nobody is interested in running for mayor.<\/p>\n<p>Such <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2015\/10\/27\/ask-not-whos-running-for-president-ask-whos-running-for-school-board\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">down-ballot races<\/a> are low-hanging fruit for energetic leftist candidates who only need a tiny handful of votes to <a href=\"https:\/\/historical.elections.virginia.gov\/contest\/139663\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">get themselves elected mayor<\/a> or a seat on the town council. This is happening in a small town near you.
