A plethora of evidence has since emerged which certainly appears to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/caught-el-sayed-says-family-no-ties-muslim-brotherhood-sisters-devastating-tweets-surface\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">prove otherwise<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking with the Michigan Democrat Wednesday, an NBC News reporter unveiled this new evidence and then demanded that El-Sayed explain himself, saying, \u201cCan you just explain it?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Instead of explaining, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-el-sayed-refuses-condemn-irgc-even-brutally-murdered-tens-thousands\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">unrepentant Islamist<\/a> quickly grew indignant.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">HOLD THE PRESS: NBC holds Abdul El-Sayed\u2019s feet to the fire on his family\u2019s ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.<\/p>\n<p>He CLEARLY panicked and lashed out at the reporter.<\/p>\n<p>NBC: \u201cWhen people ask you a question, they do expect the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>EL-SAYED (flustered): \u201cAre you insinuating that somehow I was lying?!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is so good. I was raised here in Michigan. Went to the University of Michigan. Rebuilt the health department in the city. Led the health department in this county.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd you want to ask me about what was happening in Egypt in 1970?\u201d he continued, visibly and audibly becoming angrier. \u201cAre you serious?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI get it,\u201d the NBC News reporter replied. \u201cBut you were asked a question.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLike, I have no ties,\u201d El-Sayed responded, doubling down. \u201cWe have no ties.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Posts published to social media by his half-sister, University of Chicago assistant professor Eman Abdelhadi, strongly suggest otherwise. \u201cMy family has long been MB,\u201d she proclaimed in a 2012 post.<\/p>\n<p>Aware of these posts, the NBC News reporter continued <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/former-biden-special-assistant-angry-el-sayed-got-decked-rogers-debate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">grilling El-Sayed<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo your mother had no ties?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have never had these conversations with my mother,\u201d El-Sayed replied, seemingly changing his story. \u201cI wasn\u2019t raised by my mother.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo you were unaware?\u201d the reporter asked.<\/p>\n<p>The Michigan Democrat responded this time by lecturing the reporter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m just telling you that, like, you\u2019re using hearsay evidence from a tweet,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s just not serious. It\u2019s just not serious.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But he was apparently lying again. The evidence against him also includes reports that his mother, Fatten Elkomy, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/docs-dem-darling-abdul-el-sayeds-mother-worked-islamic-charity-helped-fund-bin-laden-taliban-hamas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">once worked for<\/a> the terror-linked Islamic American Relief Agency.<\/p>\n<p>The IARA\u00a0was named a specially designated terrorist organization in 2004 \u201cfor providing financial and logistical support to terrorist groups including al-Qaeda and Hamas,\u201d according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/abdul-el-sayeds-family-has-long-been-in-egyptian-muslim-brotherhood-senate-candidates-sister-said-in-unearthed-social-media-posts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Washington Free Beacon<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Hamas is an offshoot of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/report-muslim-brotherhood-us-designated-terror-organization-celebrates-abdul-el-sayed-primary-win-media-outlet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Muslim Brotherhood<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s also this: \u201cCourt documents filed by U.S. officials named Elkomy more than a dozen times in connection with the cash transfers\u201d between the Islamic American Relief Agency, al-Qaeda, and Hamas, according to the Washington Free Beacon.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Mike Rogers slams Abdul because his mom cashed checks for Bin Laden.<\/p>\n<p>Mike\u2019s mom worked at the chamber of commerce, and Abdul\u2019s mom worked for Al-Qaeda. https:\/\/t.co\/FCgqDZ3ox5<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Great Lakes HQ (@GreatLakes_HQ) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/GreatLakes_HQ\/status\/2108343824170799412?\">October 8, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.x.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The discussion between El-Sayed and the NBC News reporter ended with the reporter trying to knock some sense into the Michigan Democrat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019ve also gone after the president for truthfulness,\u201d he said, in what appeared to be an attempt to expose El-Sayed\u2019s hypocrisy. \u201cSo when people ask you a question, they all do expect the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>El-Sayed began stumbling in response \u2014 probably in shock from being held accountable by someone from a media outlet known for usually <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/mainstream-media-execs-personalities-gather-celebrate-white-house-press-secretary-karine-jean-pierre\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">coddling leftists<\/a> like him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd do you think \u2026 do you think \u2026 are you insinuating \u2026 that somehow I was lying?\u201d he asked in frustration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t know,\u201d the reporter replied. \u201cThat\u2019s why I\u2019m asking you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I\u2019m telling you I was not,\u201d El-Sayed replied, doubling down on what clearly seemed like just another <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-even-morning-joe-couldnt-help-call-abdul-el-sayed-disingenuous-attempt-dismiss-radical-connections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">whopper of a lie<\/a> from him.<\/p>\n<div style=\"background-color: #f7f7f7;
