However, in 2020, Bank of America unexpectedly closed TTPI’s account, citing it as operating a “business type” they refused to service, which surprised the organization given its longstanding relationship and accreditation. This pattern of debanking extends across major US banks like JPMorgan Chase,Wells Fargo, and Citibank, frequently enough citing “reputation risk” and relying on biased sources such as advocacy groups like the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC),which has falsely labeled groups like ADF as hate organizations. The OCC’s recent report highlights that banks have been discriminating against lawful religious and conservative organizations, influenced by public pressure and ideological bias, which undermines free society principles. Investigations reveal that political and social advocacy, including opposition to left-wing social justice or climate agendas, can result in sudden account closures or restrictions, sometimes after years of service. Efforts led by regulators and legal groups aim to address this politicization, emphasizing that banking decisions should be objective and nonpolitical; however, concerns persist that shifts in political power could reverse these reforms. High-profile cases, including restrictions on organizations like Defense of Liberty and Christian ministries, exemplify ongoing issues with politically motivated debanking, raising alarms about its impact on free speech and religious expression in America.

The Timothy Two Project International’s mission is to do as the Apostle Paul instructed his protege Timothy: Teach others to teach the Gospel.
