According to federal whistleblower disclosures reviewed by senate Judiciary Committee Chair Chuck Grassley, Smith and the Biden Justice Department collected extensive invasive data beyond their stated mandate, including names, addresses, birth dates, email addresses, occupations, employment details, political registration, donation amounts, credit card info, and supporter analysis.They also acquired spreadsheets containing donor and supporter details dating from 2005 to 2021, and even details on MAGA hat sales, including buyer identities and shipping addresses. Grassley highlighted that these broader data collection efforts suggest the operation aimed to map out the entire Republican Party apparatus. The new findings further corroborate that Smith and his partisan team aimed to map out the entire Republican Party apparatus,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.judiciary.senate.gov\/press\/rep\/releases\/grassley-shares-explosive-arctic-frost-update-revealing-jack-smith-obtained-treasure-trove-of-data-for-over-half-a-million-republican-supporters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.<\/p>\n<div id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-343335512\" class=\"d-flex justify-content-center fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2 fdrlst__b89e9-entity-placement\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1463670073398-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grassley revealed the bombshell discovery in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grassley.senate.gov\/imo\/media\/doc\/grassley_memo_to_sjc_republicans_rm_durbin_-_arctic_frost_update.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">memo<\/a> sent to his Senate Judiciary colleagues on Wednesday. In addition to recapping <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/09\/29\/jack-smith-seized-nearly-5000-checks-written-by-trump-donors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">some<\/a> of his staff\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/10\/29\/docs-biden-fbi-subpoenaed-records-of-major-conservatives-gop-groups-as-part-of-get-trump-probe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">findings<\/a> on Smith\u2019s intrusive inquiry thus far, the Iowa Republican noted that newly reviewed subpoenas issued by Smith\u2019s team show how the special counsel\u2019s lawfare was more expansive than originally thought. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Grassley, Smith\u2019s team and the Biden Justice Department \u201cobtained spreadsheets containing Republican campaign donors, supporters, and detailed personal voter information in various formats, totaling over 639,000 individuals, at minimum.\u201d \u201cOut of those,\u201d the chairman wrote, \u201cover 148,000 rows are identified in the spreadsheets as donors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The type of data Smith and Co. acquired as a result of these spreadsheets was vast. Not only did they purportedly obtain these Republicans\u2019 names, addresses, and dates of birth, but also their email addresses, occupations and employers, congressional and state legislative districts, and whether they\u2019re officially registered as Republicans. Information on how much these Republicans donated, their credit card information (\u201cincluding last four digits of credit card numbers\u201d), and \u201cdonor analysis data (such as one-time versus recurring donations and the amount of the donation)\u201d was also acquired.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Smith and the Biden DOJ\u2019s acquisition of such data is only the tip of the Arctic Frost iceberg, according to Grassley. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The senior senator went on to reveal that these partisan actors \u201cobtained names of campaign personnel, which may potentially include campaign volunteers\u201d as part of their efforts. He additionally disclosed that the acquired \u201cdonor, potential voter, and supporter data\u201d ranges from 2005 to 2021, which is \u201cwell outside Smith\u2019s scope of purported review and further corroborating that the Special Counsel operation was designed to map out the Republican Party.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Smith and the Biden DOJ also seized information related to MAGA hat sales and purchases, according to Wednesday\u2019s memo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe documents also show that Jack Smith\u2019s SCO and Biden\u2019s Justice Department obtained information on sales of red MAGA hats, including individual buyers, their purchases and their shipping addresses for home delivery,\u201d Grassley wrote. \u201cThis is in addition to collecting a catalogue of Trump campaign products including these red hats, t-shirts, mugs, and door mats. This further illustrates the extensive scope of irrelevant and personally invasive records obtained by Smith which were shared with FBI agents.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The bombshell findings come weeks after Grassley\u2019s team <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/09\/29\/jack-smith-seized-nearly-5000-checks-written-by-trump-donors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">showed<\/a> that Smith obtained nearly 5,000 checks written by Trump donors as part of his Arctic Frost lawfare. The revelation came the same day the senator\u2019s staff also disclosed that Smith <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/09\/29\/breaking-jack-smith-spied-on-and-targeted-the-federalist-during-bidens-anti-trump-witch-hunt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">seized<\/a> communication records from more than a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/utm_sourcerssutm_mediumrssutm_campaignblackburn-takes-jack-smiths-unlawful-phone-record-seizure-to-court\/\" title=\"Blackburn Sues ...
