In the texts, she sought help paying a $100,000 credit card bill in exchange for granting the donor access to the Trump administration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt won\u2019t show up anywhere if you wire money to American Express,\u201d Guilfoyle texted on the encrypted chatting platform known as Signal. \u201cPlease.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The donor has been identified as Eric Deters, a former Kentucky congressional candidate. In the end, he refused to participate in Guilfoyle\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hawaii-lieutenant-governor-indicted-alleged-bribery-scheme\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nj-sen-robert-menendez-under-investigation-for-receiving-expensive-gifts-from-business\/\" title=\"NJ Sen. Robert Menendez probed for accepting pricey gifts from companies.\">quid pro quo scheme<\/a><\/a>, and is now publicly speaking out against her.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, he even predicted that the president will fire Guilfoyle on account of her being a \u201cgrifter.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Eric Deters says he will sue Amb. And I think the reason why he has to fire her, I think she could have survived all this stuff over in Greece because it\u2019s over in Greece.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think what I\u2019ve presented, she can\u2019t escape from,\u201d he continued. \u201cIt\u2019s black and white. It\u2019s her own words. And I think she\u2019s toast as a result of it. It\u2019s grifting on the highest level.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The CNN interviewer pushed back by bringing up accusations from Guilfoyle\u2019s attorneys that she\u2019d simply been trying to recoup $150,000 \u201cin outstanding fees from previous speeches and consulting work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Deters was apoplectic over the accusations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, I\u2019m going to be suing those lawyers, that law firm, and Kimberly Guilfoyle here in Kentucky,\u201d he announced. \u201cIt\u2019s going to be fun.
