He\u2019s got people at each other\u2019s throats. As an elected official, you\u2019re supposed to make people happy, bring them together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Curtis Sliwa, the founder of the vigilante group the Guardian Angels, who ran for mayor last year, commented, \u201cWe have a word for that in the streets. It\u2019s disgrazia.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, New York resident Anne Marie told the Post, \u201cIt\u2019s better that he\u2019s not here,\u201d explaining, \u201cIt probably would have been controversial. Nobody wants to look at his face.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, Camile Staffe said, \u201cI\u2019m happy. It\u2019s about the Italians. Italy doesn\u2019t get enough credit, but we contribute to America\u2026 They try to make it about indigenous people.
