Videos and live streams showed agents with “POLICE HSI” markings and multiple vehicles at the scene. Evidence was being loaded into vehicles, indicating an inquiry concerning alleged immigration fraud related to Omar’s childhood paperwork.

The Department of Justice confirmed that a judicially authorized search was part of an ongoing federal investigation, with reports suggesting involvement in immigration paperwork fraud. Omar described the raid as political targeting and weaponization of law enforcement, accusing former President Trump of a campaign of political intimidation. Her team called the action an abuse of power. The investigation reportedly stems from a criminal fraud probe into her immigration documents, with some officials indicating it is indeed linked to her childhood paperwork filled out by her late father.
