Jim Jordan, a Republican from Ohio and the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, bluntly summed up why left-wing agitators are so angry at New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani.<\/p>\n<p>Appearing on Fox News late Thursday with host Harris Faulkner, Jordan responded to reports that left-wing agitators have condemned Mamdani as a \u201ctraitor\u201d for daring to attend a vigil in honor of the Oct. 7 terror attack victims.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe bottom line is this is just how radical the left has become,\u201d the lawmaker insisted. \u201cI said this the other day, Harris: There are 190-some countries in the world. The left hates two countries \u2014 America and Israel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Judging by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dems-just-broke-sick-record-comes-hating-israel-jewish-democrats-must-wake\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">evidence<\/a>, he didn\u2019t appear to be wrong.<\/p>\n<div class=\"firefly-embed\"> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/eCFH0S6zfdg?si=w1sfl59Qy1whpPdH\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Jordan continued by drawing attention to the \u201cpurpose\u201d of each nation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAmerica was the place where the individual, if you had liberty and freedom and if you had a goal, you had a dream, and you worked hard \u2014 it can happen in this, the greatest country ever,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIsrael was created for the purpose, after the Holocaust, after all the persecution and terrible things done, a place where Jewish people could come home to the land that God promised Abraham,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Combined, the United States and Israel appear to represent everything anathema to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/political-left-increasingly-parallels-nazism\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">leftist worldview<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s like the two countries [were] created for a specific purpose the left hates,\u201d Jordan noted.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-conversation=\"none\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">@RapidResponse47 \u201cThe party\u2019s most influential Democrats hate traditional America. On the anniversary of the Oct. 7 terror attack, for example, he posted a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/mamdani-releases-statement-remembering-oct-7-spends-75-percent-words-defending-hamas-actions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lengthy screed<\/a> attacking the United States and Israel.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThree years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment,\u201d he declared.<\/p>\n<p>But just because he showed the Jewish people the smallest amount of sympathy on Oct. 7, he is now <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/mamdani-locked-unexpected-war-ny-teachers-union-big-bonuses\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">under attack<\/a> by his own radicalized base.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd they [the left] are so radical, even Mamdani is not good enough for them,\u201d Jordan said on Fox News.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRemember what he said 10 months and eight days ago,\u201d the lawmaker continued. \u201cHe said, \u2018I campaigned as a Democrat socialist. I was elected as a Democrat socialist.
