She was \u201cnot happy with\u201d the fact he had shot a teacher and was now swearing at police officers. At least we now know he wasn\u2019t getting the discipline he wasn\u2019t getting from his parents in the classroom, either.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Virginian-Pilot, first-grade teacher Abby Zwerner collapsed in the principal\u2019s office after fleeing the shooting on Jan. 6, 2023, having been hit in the chest and hand. The 6-year-old, identified only as J.T. in court documents, had brought in a 9 mm pistol he had gotten from his mother.<\/p>\n<p>The teacher survived. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/us-news\/abigail-zwerner-wins-10-million-lawsuit-shot-6-year-old-virginia-schoo-rcna240892\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NBC News<\/a> reported last November that Zwerner had won $10 million in a verdict against the school, since officials <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/school-official-searched-6-year-old-teachers-shooting-missed-pistol-one-problem-nobodys-addressing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">had been warned<\/a> that the student had a weapon.<\/p>\n<p>In the video, a teacher identified as Amy Kovac, a reading specialist, pointed to the firearm said that the child \u201cjust admitted he had one \u2026 he had one bullet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There were seven rounds jammed in the chamber, mind you, but that\u2019s the least of our worries.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth y\u2019all want a f***ing piece of me, b****?\u201d the boy says to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/6-year-old-arrested-school-shooting-leaves-teacher-life-threatening-injuries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the police officers<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI told the [assistant principal] that there was a threat earlier about it,\u201d Kovac then said, prompting the boy to say, \u201cThat n****a retired last year!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kovac then says how old the young man is and says that it\u2019s the first week without his mother supervising him to school.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I called 911 when I heard this,\u201d Kovac told the officers, referring to the gunshot. \u201cI\u2019m the reading specialist. I came down the hall. She had blood.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The kid continues swearing. \u201cF*** you, b****,\u201d he said, showing the middle finger to Kovac. When a police officer asks the teacher where the gun is, he says, \u201cIt\u2019s over there, w***e.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kovac: \u201cStop. That\u2019s not how we speak to each other.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The kid apparently knows that language is the least of his worries at that point, as it is ours. \u201cF*** you,\u201d he says. \u201cF*** you. F*** you, b****.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This more or less continues in this vein until the boy is asked his name. It\u2019s muted on the video, but he then says, \u201cIf you want a piece of me, come get it on, b****. I don\u2019t care if you call backup. I don\u2019t care if I go to jail, b****.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe know you know that language \u2014 and you know that\u2019s not appropriate. Mrs. Kovac\u2019s not happy with that,\u201d the teacher responded. It\u2019s then, Kovac later testified, according to The Virginian-Pilot, that he punched her. The punch is not visible on the body cam.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re done,\u201d she says, holding up her glasses.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">This is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/prosecutors-drop-charges-against-reporter-arrested-during-ohio-news-conference\/\" title=\"Prosecutors Drop Charges Against Reporter Arrested During Ohio News Conference\">recently released bodycam footage<\/a> after a 6 year old shot a teacher with a gun he stole from his mother\u2019s purse, who herself lied on federal paperwork to get it. It happened Jan 6, 2023 in Newport News, VA.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the dead audio is the child dropping f-bombs and calling people other profane names.<\/p>\n<p>For some reason I don\u2019t remember reading about very many similar cases from before we took prayer out of schools in 1962 and then the 10 Commandments 18 years later. Weird.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Josh Manning (@Josh_Manning) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Josh_Manning\/status\/2108072521572532524?\">October 8, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.x.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The boy\u2019s mother, Deja Taylor, pleaded guilty to using marijuana while owning a firearm, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/deja-taylor-sentenced-mother-6-year-old-shot-virginia-teacher-abby-zwerner-child-neglect\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CBS News<\/a> reported, and was sentenced to 21 months in prison. Unbelievably, this was harsher than the sentence that the prosecution was recommending \u2014 just six months after they reached a deal with Taylor\u2019s lawyers. She also served time in state prison for child neglect. She was released this February.<\/p>\n<p>She had also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/ap-mother-6-year-old-shot-teacher-pleads-guilty-admits-lying-federal-form\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">admitted to lying<\/a> about her marijuana use on a federal form while purchasing the gun.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, assistant principal Ebony Parker had charges against her dismissed for ignoring warnings, <a href=\"https:\/\/edition.cnn.com\/2026\/05\/21\/us\/ebony-parker-trial-dismissed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a> reported in May of this year.<\/p>\n<p>Pretty much everything about this case beggars belief, including how easily everyone got off.<\/p>\n<p>Look at that video. A kid who\u2019s just shot up his teacher with a 9 mm effectively tries to pick a fight with police that would end with him \u2014 and the teacher who\u2019s now restraining him \u2014 dead, and she merely corrects him about his language. Mrs. Kovacs wasn\u2019t happy about that, J.T. I bet you really feel reprimanded now, huh?<\/p>\n<p>Everyone involved here \u2014 the parents, the teachers, and yes, even the student \u2014 should be paying the maximum price, period, end of discussion. The child, mercifully, is now living with his great-grandfather. He has a lot to unravel, and our prayers should be with the great-grandad and the child\u2019s educators. Hopefully, they can bring him up better than his mom and and Richneck Elementary School did.<\/p>\n<p>At a macro level, this should be a reminder how everything \u2014 <em>everything<\/em> \u2014 changed when the cultural rot came into the open in 1960s. We <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/icymi-video-dem-rep-frederica-wilson-claims-returning-prayer-10-commandments-schools-anti-semitic-thing-possible\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">booted God out of public life<\/a>, so He said, \u201csure, no problem.
