An <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/2026-election\/poll-latino-voters-swing-away-trump-republicans-midterm-shift-rcna599894\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NBC News\/Telemundo poll<\/a> published over the weekend found the president\u2019s approval rating sits at 27 percent with Latino voters, while 69 percent disapprove. By contrast, a CNN exit poll found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/election\/2024\/exit-polls\/national-results\/general\/president\/0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">46 percent<\/a> voted for him in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Republican lawmakers are faring a little better than Trump among the demographic, with 35 percent of Latinos preferring they control Congress, down from 42 percent in 2024, but up from 33 percent in 2022, when the GOP did take back control of the House.<\/p>\n<p>Citing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2026\/06\/09\/polling-hispanics-angry-economy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">his own polling work<\/a>, Cortes wrote Monday: \u201cThere is a new hoax being pushed by the corporate media and establishment Republicans: that Hispanics are angry with the GOP over immigration enforcement.
