He told the crowd about Husted\u2019s past as a \u201cgreat\u201d football player at the University of Dayton, highlighting his \u201cwork ethic, commitment, and day-to-day mental toughness.\u201d Trump also tied the rally to football at the beginning of his speech, referencing Ohio State\u2019s Saturday afternoon victory over Iowa.
