Where does she say that she did this?\u201d Reddington asked.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He also reiterated his argument that Clancy was experiencing psychosis and delusions at the time of the deaths.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prosecutor Shanan Buckingham called the defense argument \u201claughable,\u201d arguing in court papers filed Monday that the evidence they contend supports a conviction.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wex-inarticle-ad wex-inarticle-ad-art-dsk-inart-3\">\n<div class=\"wex-ad-wrap wex-ad-art-dsk-inart-3\" style=\"min-height:90px\"><span class=\"wex-ad-label\" hidden>Advertisement<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-3182201-17\" data-wex-ad=\"art-dsk-inart-3\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prosecutors alleged Clancy, 36, deliberately strangled her children \u2014 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson, and 8-month-old Callan \u2014 with exercise bands on Jan. 24, 2023, before using multiple methods in an attempt to die by suicide.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They argued during the first trial that Clancy deliberately sent her husband out of the house to pick up medicine for one of the children and dinner for the family before killing the children. Her husband and first responders testified that she attempted to die by suicide immediately afterward.
