After the jury was sent back multiple times by the judge to continue deliberations and reach a consensus to no avail, a mistrial was eventually declared. Reddington is prepared to bring up the motion, alongside others, in court Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Clancy\u2019s lawyers are also seeking to dismiss the murder charges for killing her three young children. Additionally, they asked the judge to enter a not-guilty verdict, finding the defendant not guilty because, in their view, the state\u2019s prosecutors presented insufficient evidence at trial.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is unclear whether prosecutors plan to retry Clancy, who remains in custody at a psychiatric hospital. Her youngest child was 8 months old when killed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Desronvil said he has no doubt in his mind as to whether Clancy committed the murders.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Clancy\u2019s lawyers have tried to discredit the holdout juror by bringing up his past. They requested court documents from a criminal charge against Desronvil in 2021, when his wife told police that he had grabbed her by the throat and threw her against a dresser.
