But that deal would not be acceptable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI expect more talks with Iran [this week]. They want to make a deal, but it is not the deal that I want to make. It is what we would have maybe agreed to a year ago. They overplayed their hand,\u201d Trump said Sunday, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2026\/09\/27\/trump-iran-war-hormuz-blockade-negotiations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Axios<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, Trump said victory will come \u201cvery soon,\u201d according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/live-news\/iran-war-strait-of-hormuz-donald-trump-09-27-26\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think what\u2019s going to happen is we\u2019re going to win this war very soon, and as soon as we win it, the oil will go down, way down to what it was before the war,\u201d Trump said while attending the PGA Tour Presidents Cup.<\/p>\n<p>Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Iran will allow U.N. nuclear inspectors into the country, which it has not done in the past.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat is absolutely correct,\u201d he said, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/iran-president-masoud-pezeshkian-proposal-trump-strait-of-hormuz-war\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CBS News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/EricLDaugh\/status\/2104183871759679894?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">post on X<\/a>, Eric Daugherty noted that \u201cIran knows they\u2019re LOSING and can no longer pretend they control Hormuz. I think we\u2019ll win it both ways. We\u2019ve already won it really from a military standpoint. But that doesn\u2019t mean we\u2019ve stopped that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re certainly winning it very big. If you look at their economy, it\u2019s gone. They have no economy,\u201d he continued. \u201cThe value of their money is, as they say, valueless. We have inflation. They have inflation now of close to 300 percent. I heard 318 percent as of this morning. Three hundred, meaning their money is shot, their economy is shot, their military is shot.
