As an unremarkable <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cms.gov\/newsroom\/press-releases\/cms-cracks-down-fraud-waste-abuse-federal-health-insurance-marketplacer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">press release<\/a> from the Centers for Medicare &#038; Medicaid Services (CMS) kind of obviously explained this week, fraudulent applications for subsidized healthcare coverage have markers of fraud that investigators can recognize, like missing identifying information and applications dumped in batches by brokers with poor track records. <\/p>\n<p>Spotting the signs of fraud, CMS recently canceled \u201capproximately 315,000 unauthorized enrollments covering more than 760,000 individuals, which is expected to result in a return of roughly $2.2 billion in taxpayer-funded subsidies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They plan to keep going. \u201cCMS will continue working with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/interview-how-health-care-price-transparency-can-save-americans-money-and-put-consumers-in-charge\/\" title=\"INTERVIEW: How ... Price Transparency Can Save Americans Money And Put Consumers In Charge\">health insurance companies<\/a> to identify and investigate potentially unauthorized enrollments, cancel those confirmed to be unauthorized, and recoup and end associated taxpayer-funded subsidies,\u201d the statement said. There\u2019s a reason for that.<\/p>\n<p>Federal regulations that were first written during the Obama administration in 2012 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecfr.gov\/current\/title-45\/subtitle-A\/subchapter-B\/part-155\/subpart-E\/section-155.430\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">explicitly describe the process<\/a> by which fraudulent Obamacare enrollments can be terminated by government officials, and here\u2019s the funny part: Every administration does this. The termination of fraudulent Obamacare enrollments is a normal CMS activity. Here\u2019s a 2024 <a href=\"https:\/\/kffhealthnews.org\/insurance\/aca-obamacare-plan-switching-fraud-lawsuit-benefitalign-inshura-blocked-access\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">news story<\/a> about the Biden administration \u201cthwarting enrollment schemes and rogue insurance agents.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The Biden administration routinely announced the termination of fraudulent Obamacare enrollments. Here\u2019s a May 6, 2024 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cms.gov\/newsroom\/press-releases\/cms-statement-agent-broker-marketplace-activity-update\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CMS press release<\/a> that describes the resolution of 50,000 \u201ccomplaints of unauthorized enrollments,\u201d noting that most \u201chave been resolved, meaning the consumer\u2019s unauthorized enrollment is canceled.\u201d By the standard Democrats are applying this week, cruel Joe Biden viciously stripped healthcare coverage from tens of thousands of Americans.<\/p>\n<p>But not really, because the whole fake panic is completely made-up and stupid.
