For <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/nhl\/\">the NHL<\/a>, the face on that mountain may well belong to Barry Melrose, the former NHL coach and broadcaster who died on Sept. 9 at the age of 70. For nearly three decades, he was the voice of<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/hockey\/\"> hockey<\/a> on American television. He was the face, too, and also of course the hair. (I usually think mullets look pretty dumb, but not when Barry Melrose was rocking them).
