A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/title-42-may-end-as-soon-as-april\/\" title=\"Title 42 May End as Soon as April\">federal appeals court panel<\/a> is considering whether to uphold Missouri\u2019s attempt to reinstate a new map from 2025, wich favors Republicans and would likely give them an additional House seat. This legal battle involves multiple court rulings: the Missouri Supreme Court ordered that a referendum be held on the 2025 map, favoring the old 2022 map for the November elections; Missouri officials initially failed to appeal this ruling to the U.S. Supreme court,then filed a federal lawsuit to restore the 2025 map,which a federal court supported. However, the Supreme court temporarily halted that ruling, allowing the 2022 map to remain in use for now, even though primary elections took place wiht the 2025 map. Missouri officials unsuccessfully tried to appeal the ruling to the U.S. Supreme Court and simultaneously filed a lawsuit in federal court attempting to reinstate the 2025 map for the upcoming elections.
