This response was prompted by family members of 9\/11 victims who have been urging the government to disclose more facts, criticizing its handling of the matter as betrayals. Blanche indicated that some of the records are classified but assured that the Trump administration is actively working to declassify as many documents as possible without shielding any government or other entities. The issue remains sensitive and of heightened public interest as families seek openness about the events and potential foreign involvement in the attacks.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<article class=\"fn-body\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attorney General <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/todd-blanche\/\">Todd Blanche<\/a> on Monday committed to releasing more government records related to <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/saudi-arabia\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"590\">Saudi Arabia\u2019s<\/a> possible connections to <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/september-11-terrorist-attacks\/\">9\/11<\/a>, in response to family members of those who died during the attacks who have fought for more information on the issue. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the 25th anniversary of 9\/11 last week, several family members attended a <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/new-york-city\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"286\">New York City<\/a> ceremony where they made direct appeals to the Trump administration to release more information, describing the government\u2019s handling of the issue since Sept. 11, 2001, as \u201cone betrayal after another.\u201d When pressed on the controversy, Blanche argued during a CBS News interview this week that some records contain \u201cgenuine classified information,\u201d but said that the <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/trump-administration\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"339\">Trump administration<\/a> is working to declassify as many documents as it can, and is not looking to protect any other \u201cgovernment or any entity.\u201d <\/p>\n<section class=\"explore-more-section\" id=\"wex-recommended-widget\">\n<style>.explore-more-section { background: var(--wex-bg);
