Another juror, Paula Devlin, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/09\/11\/the-lindsay-clancy-holdout-juror-is-a-black-man-heres-why-gayle-king-needed-to-sit-with-that-for-just-a-second\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">stunned Gayle King<\/a> when she further announced the man who refused to vote not guilty by reason of insanity is black.<\/p>\n<figure>\n<p><span><\/p>\n<blockquote data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Gayle King finds out the Lindsay Clancy holdout juror, who wouldn&#8217;t acquit, was a black man and says, &#8220;Wow. In fact, jurors like Devlin are required to take an oath to remain impartial. Any decision from the jury of Clancy\u2019s peers was supposed to be made using only the evidence presented during the trial. <\/p>\n<p>Devlin\u2019s confession to CBS, however, suggests that at least some of the jurors came to the box with an agenda. The evidence that Clancy\u2019s jury was compromised by activism only gets more damning with other jury members\u2019 admissions that they <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/09\/09\/clancy-juror-appears-to-admit-jurors-used-outside-expertise-to-badger-holdout\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">relied on outside expertise<\/a> to pressure the holdout into compliance. This mindset ultimately enabled a majority of the jury <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/09\/09\/lindsay-clancy-juror-most-of-us-were-able-to-get-over-the-dead-children\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cget over\u201d<\/a> the undisputed fact that Clancy killed her kids. <\/p>\n<p>For decades, Democrats have sold soft-on-crime policies to Americans using euphemisms like \u201cjustice system reform.\u201d The most obvious results of this <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/06\/06\/report-biden-gave-millions-in-tax-dollars-to-soros-backed-group-pushing-men-in-womens-prisons\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">well-funded criminal<\/a> release ideology are <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/03\/18\/giving-violent-criminals-a-free-pass-only-punishes-innocent-americans-and-rewards-the-left\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">more brutal acts of violence<\/a> committed by countless violent criminals who were let off the legal hook and returned to the streets. <\/p>\n<p>Giving violent criminals a free pass only punishes innocent Americans and delays true justice. Yet, it should come as no surprise that after years of political and media messaging declaring <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/10\/18\/the-left-wanted-to-destroy-the-police-and-so-far-theyve-succeeded\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">all cops are bad<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/05\/14\/far-left-academics-wrote-scientific-advisory-guide-used-to-influence-judges\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">judges and juries get it wrong<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/05\/07\/how-new-york-democrats-bail-reform-increased-hate-and-other-crimes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bail bonds and jail are racist<\/a>, everyday Americans view the justice system and their participation in it as the place for activism instead of rule of law. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.com\/Politics\/63-support-black-lives-matter-recognition-discrimination-jumps\/story?id=71779435\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Women in particular are more susceptible<\/a> to the emotional manipulation posed by <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >progressive pro-crime psychological operations<\/a> such as Black Lives Matter. The evolution of this pattern could not be more clear. What starts as <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/02\/18\/affluent-white-female-liberals-are-living-in-a-made-up-world\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Affluent, White, Female, Liberals (AWFL)<\/a> screeching on social media <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/01\/09\/heres-how-professional-activists-use-guerrilla-tactics-to-sabotage-ice-arrests\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">quickly evolves into violence<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The radical victim mentality that\u2019s been force fed to us for years through corporate media and social media is exactly what led Devlin to be <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/thevivafrei\/status\/2098416040036151677?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">convinced<\/a> that Clancy was not guilty of killing her kids and shouldn\u2019t suffer legal punishment because she had an \u201cit\u2019s a wonderful life\u201d sign in her home and might have strangled the children out of a distorted sense of love. <\/p>\n<p>Facts, not feelings of solidarity or sympathy, were supposed to guide the Clancy jurors as they determined her legal fate.
