The piece critiques this mentality, implying that such attitudes undermine the understanding of basic moral concepts and suggest potential danger, as they dismiss the gravity of the crime and justify emotional biases over justice and truth.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Listening to all the Lindsay Clancy truthers on TikTok <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/09\/04\/women-defending-lindsay-clancy-admit-theyre-dangerous-and-unaccountable\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/09\/04\/women-defending-lindsay-clancy-admit-theyre-dangerous-and-unaccountable\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">and elsewhere<\/a>, you notice something right away: None of them really care that Clancy admits to having strangled her own three young children to death. The jurors who just gave a TV interview were exactly the same.<\/p>\n<p>Three of them spoke with NBC10 in Boston <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcboston.com\/news\/local\/lindsay-clancy-trial-juror-interview-video\/4011169\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.nbcboston.com\/news\/local\/lindsay-clancy-trial-juror-interview-video\/4011169\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">this week<\/a>, and one in particular said it most explicitly. Remarking on the one holdout juror who refused to acquit, Kellie Farina, a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >middle-aged white woman<\/a>, said, \u201cHe had the hardest time getting over the fact that Lindsay viciously killed her children.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That was just one of two times that any of the jurors referenced the dead children in the interview. The rest was how they felt about the prosecutors (\u201cI just found her to be harsh. Very, very harsh,\u201d said Farina); how they felt about Clancy\u2019s defense attorney (Roni Carlson, another middle-aged white woman, said he was entertaining and yet a third middle-aged white woman, Paula Devlin, said the attorney\u2019s \u201ccompassion\u201d for Clancy was \u201camazing\u201d); and their frustration with the holdout juror, who Devlin described as \u201cvery arrogant.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To them, the fact that we\u2019re here because a mother used rubber exercise bands to choke her three children to death is a minor detail only maybe worth considering in passing, if they must. The more important matter at hand is how they feel about the personalities in the same room as them at present, and whether anyone wasn\u2019t able to \u201cget over\u201d the inconvenient dead kids so that they can let the stressed out murderous mom off the hook. And how \u201carrogant\u201d that anyone couldn\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p>Again, that mentality is all over TikTok and it\u2019s almost exclusively <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/08\/24\/men-get-ahold-of-your-lindsay-clancy-supporting-girlfriends-and-wives-before-its-too-late\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/08\/24\/men-get-ahold-of-your-lindsay-clancy-supporting-girlfriends-and-wives-before-its-too-late\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">coming from women<\/a>, who are almost exclusively white. They\u2019re all able to \u201cget over\u201d the dead kids and instead focus on the plight of Clancy, their enduring <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/09\/02\/if-you-have-mixed-feelings-about-lindsay-clancys-guilt-youre-too-stupid-and-broken-to-be-on-tiktok\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2026\/09\/02\/if-you-have-mixed-feelings-about-lindsay-clancys-guilt-youre-too-stupid-and-broken-to-be-on-tiktok\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">suspicions and resentments<\/a> for her now ex-husband, and the medical providers who \u201cfailed\u201d the woman with a satanic kind of postpartum depression. That\u2019s where the action is. Why couldn\u2019t that lone juror see that? Was he stupid or just arrogant?<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s not clear if any of these people knows that every time they open their mouths about this trial, they\u2019re raising doubts among the broader public \u2014\u00a0especially men \u2014\u00a0about the capacity for women to understand basic concepts of right from wrong, regardless of their medical history. Clancy\u2019s defense isn\u2019t that she didn\u2019t know right from wrong before she killed her children or after.
