href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/videos\/4521519\/voters-remorse-crime-gerrymandering-tax-hikes-abigail-spanberger-virginia\/\">Crime tied to illegal immigration<\/a> has made a huge dent in <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/business\/4532847\/virginia-democrats-spanberger-plummeting-popularity-redistricting\/\">Spanberger\u2019s plummeting popularity<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/bertforsenate.com\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/bertforsenate.com\/\">Bert Mizusawa<\/a>, who is the Republican Senate candidate in Virginia running to unseat Sen. <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.warner.senate.gov\/\">Mark Warner <\/a>(D-VA), called Spanberger\u2019s move \u201can unconstitutional power grab beyond the authority of Virginia\u2019s executive branch.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt appears that it was not enough for Governor Spanberger\u2019s administration to violate the Virginia Constitution with its redistricting referendum earlier this year,\u201d Mizusawa said in a statement exclusively to the <em>Washington Examiner.<\/em> \u201cNow they are violating the United States Constitution with its attempt to prevent the cooperation of Virginia law enforcement agencies charged with the federal href=\"https:\/\/www.dhs.gov\/news\/2026\/08\/31\/worst-worst-ice-arrests-murderers-pedophiles-rapists-and-assailants\">DHS revealed<\/a> they had arrested Nelson Cruz-Urquilla, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador, convicted of first-degree murder in Chesterfield, Virginia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only a week before ICE announced a two-week immigration enforcement operation that led to more than <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dhs.gov\/news\/2026\/08\/24\/ice-operation-safe-community-washington-dc-arrests-more-1300-illegal-aliens\">1,300 illegal immigrants being arrested in Washington, D,C,, Maryland, and Virginia.<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOf the 1,328 illegal aliens arrested, almost 400 have either been convicted or charged with crimes in the United States,\u201d the statement read. \u201cICE officers made these arrests despite the sanctuary policies of many of the counties throughout Virginia and Maryland. <\/p>\n<div class=\"wex-inarticle-ad
