on Monday about the agency\u2019s \u201cfatally flawed\u201d plan for handling mail-in voting this November.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">USPS is complying with President <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\" data-type=\"post_tag\" data-id=\"4\">Donald Trump\u2019s<\/a> executive order directing the agency to deliver mail ballots to U.S. citizens vetted by the administration.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis administration seems hell-bent on changing the framework of casting ballots in this country, clearly for political reasons,\u201d Blumenthal told reporters. \u201cIt is unconstitutional, as is argued in the courts by the litigation that is ongoing, but this disclosure indicates that it is also blatantly incompetent and incapable of actually delivering ballots that are lawful in this midterm election.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"wex-inarticle-ad faces in rushing to scan mail ballots.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAs presently designed, if even one bar code on one single ballot in a bulk-mailing of 10,000 ballots fails to properly scan during the verification process, the entire batch is rejected and sent back to the state \u2014 e\ufb00ectively stopping the ballots from being mailed to voters,\u201d the complaint says. \u201cEven under ordinary circumstances this would be problematic because of predictable errors in any barcode scanning process.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a
