Mike Beltran removed prominent mentions of President Donald Trump from his campaign website after winning the GOP primary for Florida’s 14th Congressional District. Prior to the primary, Beltran publicly supported Trump consistently, emphasizing that his support was driven by conviction rather than political calculation, and he criticized outgoing Florida Governor ron DeSantis, a Trump rival. His website previously highlighted his backing for Trump’s legislative priorities and the Working Families Tax Cut, which he claimed would benefit families and seniors. Though, immediately after the primary, references to Trump and related policies were removed, even though some indications of support remain on his website and social media. Beltran’s campaign stated the changes were post-primary website updates and maintained his support for trump. This pattern of removing Trump mentions after election victories is happening among some GOP candidates, but many still align closely with Trump to mobilize voters. Trump did not endorse Beltran in the primary, but he is expected to have strong support in the reconfigured, Republican-leaning district.

EXCLUSIVE — Former Florida state Rep.
