After being ejected from a Chicago Sky game for arguing with a player, he criticized the league for what he perceives as inconsistent enforcement of rules, especially regarding transgender athletes and player conduct. Kanter Freedom’s letter to WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert raises five questions about league policies, fairness, and accountability, emphasizing concerns about perceived viewpoint discrimination and selective enforcement. He highlighted that despite inappropriate behavior from a player (Natasha Cloud), only he was ejected without warnings or appropriate consequences. Kanter Freedom also advocates for clear definitions of women’s sports based on biology, criticizing the league’s current woke stance and suggesting that the league’s policies are influenced by progressive ideologies rather than fairness. The incident and his public statements have sparked debate over gender identity policies in sports and league enforcement practices.

Enes Kanter Freedom has five questions for the commissioner of the WNBA after his ejection from a Chicago Sky game for quarreling with a player.

Kanter Freedom, a former NBA player, most notably with the Boston Celtics, is challenging the WNBA’s woke rules on gender by declaring himself eligible for next year’s draft.
