That number is up from yesterday. The disaster struck an area near some of the world\u2019s highest mountains and is believed to have been fueled by melting glaciers and glacial activity.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nepal\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >missing-person tally roughly doubled<\/a> to about 1,900 after nearly 900 people working at hydropower projects were reported missing, according to local officials. It\u2019s expensive and difficult. But it\u2019s critical that people have safe water,\u201d Fisher told <em>CNN<\/em>. \u201cFloods like this often bring a waterborne disease.
