The Justice Department informed the court that the board would hold off on implementing it&#8217;s plan to include &#8220;renovated and restored by President Donald J. Trump&#8221; until early October. This advancement is part of an ongoing legal controversy concerning the trump management&#8217;s efforts to rename and renovate the Kennedy Center, which arose after a lawsuit filed by Rep.Joyce Beatty challenging the administration&#8217;s plans.The court, presided over by Judge Christopher Cooper, had earlier indicated that only Congress could authorize such a name change, and had ordered the removal of Trump&#8217;s name.
