During her tenure, she adopted a more aggressive and assertive style, breaking from some traditional practices. She implemented reforms to the White House press pool, giving more access to diverse media outlets, including smaller and fringe ones, and introduced a new media seat in the briefing room to promote inclusivity. Additionally, she allowed reporters to question from the aisles and maintained an open-door policy initially. However, later rules restricted access to senior White House offices, citing national security concerns. Leavitt also became more combative with the press, notably criticizing biased or false reporting and launching a “Media Bias” portal to highlight perceived media inaccuracies. Her approach has influenced successor developments in White House press operations, emphasizing transparency and diverse media engagement. <\/p>\n
\n <button
