Initially, they voted to restore President Donald Trump&#8217;s name to the venue, but they informed a federal court they would not pursue this action, choosing to delay any changes until after Labor Day, at the earliest. Beatty <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/kennedy-center-trump-name-facade-court-order-fd8abd05844327dab5a0f940a8505434#\" rel=\"noopener\">expressed<\/a> concerns that the board would take swift action to proceed with the renaming shortly after Sept. 8.
