Despite being considered mentally ill and legally requiring supervision, Toshpulodzoda was granted conditional release and eventually left the hospital on a 48-hour pass. Toshpulodzoda even reportedly told police he was guilty. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seven years later and Toshpulodzoda \u2014 an illegal immigrant from Tajikistan \u2014 is apparently back home in his country after Virginia officials actually helped him get a passport and repeatedly allowed him to leave a state mental hospital without supervision, according to court records and reporting from Daily Wire.<\/p>\n<div id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-4038665114\" class=\"d-flex justify-content-center fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2 fdrlst__b89e9-entity-placement\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1463670073398-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Toshpulodzoda was found not guilty by reason of insanity after his attorney argued he was \u201cfixated on religious topics\u201d and was behaving illogically. Psychologist Sahair Monfared evaluated Toshpulodzoda \u201cgiven the intertwining of Islam with Mr. Tospulodozoda\u2019s delusions\u201d and reportedly recommended Toshpulodzoda not be found guilty. A second psychologist obtained by prosecutors reportedly agreed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The judgment was entered in 2022 with the \u201cconcurrence\u201d of Fairfax County Attorney Steve Descano, a Democrat who was backed by George Soros, according to Daily Wire. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two years later, Descano\u2019s office worked with Toshpulodzoda\u2019s lawyers and requested a judge give the murderer \u201cpermission for an escorted visit \u2026 to the Tajikistan Embassy in Washington, D.C. to obtain a passport,\u201d Daily Wire reported. One year after that, the Fairfax County Community Services Board of Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute decided that despite Toshpulodzoda being a murderer and illegal alien, he was \u201can appropriate candidate for conditional release\u201d and could leave confinement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Judge Stephen Shannon rejected the recommendation in June, finding Toshpulodzoda was mentally ill and could not be released from custody without a court order. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On July 6, officials let Toshpulodzoda leave the hospital on a 48-hour pass.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He never came back. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead, \u201cHe boarded an international flight at Washington Dulles International Airport and traveled to Istanbul, Turkey. He thereafter traveled to Dushanbe, Tajikistan,\u201d court documents obtained by the Daily Wire show. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every step of the way suicidal empathy guided these officials. They excused his illegal alien status, they ignored his guilt in a grisly murder, they helped him secure a passport, and they provided him unsupervised housing and freedom.
