A recent survey by Insuranceopedia found that 15.2% of respondents have skipped, delayed, or sought medical treatment influenced by AI advice. Smaller percentages have used AI chatbots to dispute or ignore medical bills (about 9%) or to select or change health insurance plans (around 8.9%). Younger adults, notably those aged 18-24 and 25-34, are more likely to rely on AI for healthcare decisions. The survey indicates that factors like education or digital literacy do not significantly affect willingness to follow AI recommendations, highlighting a trend where affordability, speed, and convenience may outweigh professional medical advice.Notably, 26% of millennials and nearly 19% of Americans aged 35-44 with health insurance are likely to act based on AI guidance. While proponents see AI as a potential revolutionary tool for healthcare, experts warn it could lead to higher costs. Companies like Nvidia are developing new AI healthcare tools, underscoring the growing intersection of AI and <a href="https://www.conservativenewsdaily.net/breaking-news/mo-ag-sues-school-district-for-imposing-mask-mandate-on-children/" title="Mo. In June, major U.S.-based tech company Nvidia joined forces with Abridge, an “AI-native clinician intelligence platform,” to develop a new AI model for healthcare.

Insuranceopedia describes itself as a “US-focused insurance education and comparison platform built by insurance market professionals,” according to its website.
