The delay was granted to allow their lawyers more time to respond to prosecutors. The U.K. authorities have until mid-September to provide evidence supporting extradition, which only the U.S. Secretary of State can block; however, Marco Rubio has indicated he will not interfere. The Tate brothers, who have denied wrongdoing, were detained by U.S. Marshals on a sealed U.K. extradition warrant and are currently held in Miami for their safety.
