As August 1, Truth Social has offered a Truth API, allowing clients to pay up to $100,000 monthly for instant access to posts from Trump and others, including sensitive information about markets, politics, and foreign policy. The lawsuit claims this service is corrupt, giving paying clients early access to market-shifting information, which could influence trading and market outcomes. TMTG, Trump&#8217;s company, defends the practice as standard in the industry, noting they have signed multiple high-cost API agreements. The company also emphasizes that Trump\u2019s posts are widely available through various platforms and that their social media platform was created to support free speech after his previous de-platforming from twitter.
