Established in 1994, the institution has historically raised millions for various causes, including aid for 9\/11 rescue workers and emergency relief during the COVID-19 pandemic. The panel that approved his plan was almost entirely appointed by Mamdani.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The rent freeze is supposed to pause rent increases on both one-year and two-year leases between Oct. 1 and Sept. 30, 2027.
