One later died from her injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cost debate also comes as questions persist about crime reporting in the District. A<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/crime\/4666497\/dc-agency-confirms-police-rigged-crime-stats-the-left-used-to-debunk-trump\/\"> report released last week <\/a>by the D.C. Office of the Inspector General found a \u201cprolonged, systemic breakdown\u201d in how the Metropolitan Police Department classified crimes.
