A review of Federal Election Commission filings reveals that Fetterman has not been funded by AIPAC-related donations. However, several potential primary challengers to Fetterman, such as Rep.Brendan Boyle, Rep.Chrissy Houlahan, and former Rep. Susan Wild, have received notable contributions from AIPAC, totaling at least $1.6 million, with Boyle receiving over $1.05 million. Boyle publicly supported Israel’s right to defend itself during recent conflicts and has maintained endorsement from AIPAC. Conversely, some pennsylvania Democrats, such as Rep. Chris Deluzio and Rep. Summer Lee, have either distanced themselves from AIPAC or have not accepted its funding; Lee is notably a critic of AIPAC and has taken no contributions from the organization. The political landscape within Pennsylvania shows a divide, with Fetterman leading the pro-Israel faction, while other potential challengers either oppose AIPAC’s influence or have moved left on Israel-related issues.

Sen. John Fetterman’s (D-PA) unwavering support for Israel has made him a favorite target of progressive Democrats who accuse him of being too close to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
