In fact, at age 18, he worked as a pre-visual artist on \u201cStar Wars: Episode I \u2014 The Phantom Menace.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>From there, he built a career that included work on the \u201cPirates of the Caribbean\u201d and \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-harry-potter-actor-masterful-response-reporter-tries-bait-series-creator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Harry Potter<\/a>\u201d franchises.<\/p>\n<p>Baillie filed his lawsuit against the backdrop of Netflix\u2019s plummeting stock price.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/markets\/stocks\/articles\/netflix-down-41-1-could-074000704.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Yahoo Finance<\/a>, the company\u2019s stock has fallen 41 percent in the last 12 months and 26 percent in 2026 alone.<\/p>\n<p>The streaming service also finds itself in a legal dispute with the prediction market Kalshi over a newly released documentary, \u201cThe Prediction Games,\u201d according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2026\/07\/24\/politics\/kalshi-netflix-prediction-market-documentary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Still, investors have struck a bullish tone on Netflix. Rick Munarriz of the investment-focused website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fool.com\/investing\/2026\/07\/27\/i-predicted-netflix-would-soar-after-july-16-the-s\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Motley Fool<\/a>, for instance, acknowledged the bad news but insisted on remaining positive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not a good place to be,\u201d he wrote, \u201cbut this doesn\u2019t have to be where the story ends.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, investor Mike Khouw touted the stock in an opinion piece for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2026\/07\/27\/netflix-woes-setting-up-for-a-hollywood-ending-says-trader-mike-khouw.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNBC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNetflix\u2019s stock price may have lost the plot,\u201d he wrote, \u201cbut its fundamental narrative remains intact.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>CNBC published Khouw\u2019s advice on Monday, one day after the Post\u2019s exclusive story about Baillie\u2019s lawsuit.
