This decision is a key step before final approval at the upcoming August meeting in Texas. The committee, after extensive public input from 12 states across the U.S., aimed to ensure a fair and representative early voting schedule. south Carolina garnered enough votes to beat out Nevada, Michigan, and New Hampshire, partly due to concerns over Nevada\u2019s voting procedures. DNC member Stuart Appelbaum told the panel, \u201cWhen I have to choose between Nevada and South Carolina, what concerns me is that votes in Nevada can still be counted five days after the primary has been held.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Christale Spain, chairwoman of South Carolina\u2019s <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/democratic-party\/\" type=\"post_tag\" id=\"288\">Democratic Party<\/a>, reminded the panel that South Carolina has two weeks of early voting and
