That\u2019s down from $4.29 a gallon on June 2. The average price in 2025 was $3.14, before the conflict with Iran. The all-time high for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gas-prices-reach-6-year-high-amid-shortages\/\" title=\"... They have also<a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/washington-secrets\/4660446\/why-republicans-bullish-holding-house\/\"> pointed to certain polling<\/a> that paints a better picture of where the party stands.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the start of June, Democrats held a lead of 7.4 percentage points in generic congressional polling, according to the <em>RealClearPolitics <\/em>average.
