Last week, the Food and Drug Administration initially said the outbreak was linked to iceberg lettuce from <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.fda.gov\/food\/outbreaks-foodborne-illness\/investigation-5-state-outbreak-cyclospora-illnesses-iceberg-lettuce-july-2026\">Taylor Farms in\u00a0Mexico<\/a>. But after a review, officials concluded the result was a false positive.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/healthcare\/4652642\/taco-bell-lettuce-taylor-farms-cyclospora\/\"><strong>TACO BELL\u2019S LETTUCE SUPPLIER LINKED TO NATIONWIDE CYCLOSPORIASIS OUTBREAK<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agency removed the sample from its update on Saturday and said there are no confirmed positive product samples for cyclospora.
