The bill passed with a narrow 216-212 vote, losing some Democratic support due too concerns over its cost and Iran-related provisions. Notably, six Democrats crossed party lines to support it, while several Republicans opposed it. Opposing reasons ranged from concerns about the bill&#8217;s size and provisions to specific disagreements, such as Rep. Massie\u2019s opposition to a measure linking U.S. and Israeli military efforts, which he argued could merge military supply chains with Israel\u2019s.
